DermaLife Basal Medium is optimized specifically for the culture of Primary Human Dermal Epithelial Cells (including Primary Keratinocytes, Primary Adult Melanocytes, and Primary Neonatal Melanocytes), and Primary Human Oral Keratinocytes.
Lifeline® optimized basal media contain no antimicrobials and no phenol red, since these components can cause cell stress and “masking effects” that may influence experimental results.
DermaLife Basal Medium requires the appropriate LifeFactors to promote guaranteed proliferation and function of cells. DermaLife may be used with these LifeFactors Kits:
- DermaLife Ma LifeFactors Kit: LS-1063 (for use with adult melanocytes)
- DermaLife M LifeFactors Kit: LS-1041 (for use with neonatal melanocytes)
