Human Small Airway Epithelial Cells
Lifeline® Human Small Airway Epithelial Cells provide an ideal model for the studies of toxicity, cystic fibrosis, asthma, pathogenesis, pharmacology or airway wound healing.
These primary cells are directly cultured from their source organ tissue. Cells are isolated from human lung tissue and expanded twice in culture vessels before being cryopreserved.
Small Airway Epithelial Cells are cultured without retinoic acid, and quality tested in BronchiaLife™ Medium to ensure proper growth and morphology over a period of at least 15 population doublings.
Lifeline® Human Small Airway Epithelial Cells are not exposed to antimicrobials or phenol red when cultured in BronchiaLife™ Medium, an advantage since these supplements can cause cell stress and “masking effects” that may negatively impact experimental results.
Small Airway Epithelial Cells are extensively tested, and guaranteed for performance and quality.
